Summer Job in Care and Support
The Care and Support Administration is responsible for the municipality's elderly and disability care, home healthcare, and food services. The Care and Support Administration has over 1,000 employees. The largest group of employees consists of care staff such as nursing assistants, personal assistants, nurses, and cooks. However, there are also many other professions within our organization. We are all key personnel, and our operations are characterized by employees who are engaged, responsible, and competent.

About the Job
As a summer substitute, you will work in care and support as a care assistant, nursing assistant, or personal assistant, depending on the operation and your qualifications. The work involves providing support and care in a respectful, professional, and individualized manner based on the user's needs.
Your tasks may include personal care, assistance during meals, serving food and drinks according to the user's preferences, social support, and practical tasks in daily care work. For certain assignments, health and medical tasks may also occur, based on delegation and qualifications.
Personal care may involve assistance with hygiene, showering, toilet visits, and changing incontinence pads. The work involves caring for both female and male users.
Working hours may be scheduled for days, evenings, weekends, and nights. The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues and users and can be physically demanding. To perform the job as a substitute, you need to feel comfortable performing all the tasks included in the relevant role within care and support.

Employment Conditions
We offer hourly and summer substitute positions with intermittent employment. The position starts by agreement. Salary is set according to applicable salary scales and based on education, experience, and qualifications. We can guarantee at least 75% working hours, with the possibility of more work during the summer.
Requirements
To work with us, you need to meet the following requirements. No specific education is required – we place great emphasis on your commitment and willingness to make a difference.
We are looking for you who
- Are at least 18 years old.
- Master Swedish in speech and writing so that you can communicate with users, relatives, and colleagues and document according to the operation's requirements
- Have good computer and mobile skills as we use digital tools in our daily work
- Can perform all tasks included in the relevant role within care and support based on the user's needs and conditions.
Personal Qualities
To thrive in the role, you need to be responsible and have a respectful attitude in your interactions with users, relatives, and colleagues. You have good teamwork skills, can work independently, and are attentive to others' needs. You are flexible and capable of handling a job where conditions and pace may vary.
Specific Requirements
- BankID (requirement for personal assistance)
- Driver's license (requirement within home care and certain other operations where work is conducted throughout the municipality)
Meritorious
- Education in care, support, child and leisure, or other equivalent education/experience
- Previous experience in care work, elderly care, or work with individuals with special needs
- Experience in health and medical tasks, for example, through delegation
Other
For work with children and youth, an extract from the criminal record is required according to §9. An extract will be requested if employment becomes relevant.
